Children's Book

One of my favorite children's book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do You See"  This is one of my favorite books to read to my children at work, and at home. The book has some rhymimg words, and it is a book that you could let the children engage in reading some of the words. It is the same phrase just with different animals. I have made flannel pieces and let the children engage putting the different pieces on the flannel board when we get to that part in the book. This book is good for the children learning rhyming words, colors, and recognizing the different animals as well. When i put this book out on the shelf for the children to explore they will usually retell the story using the flannel pieces.
