Professional Hopes and Goals

Professional Hopes and Goals

One hope that you have when you think about working with children and families who come from diverse backgrounds is for the families to feel that their children are safe and secure at all times. To feel that they can communicate with anyone who is working with their children, and to know they are getting the education their family deserves. That the family would be able to ask any questions they would have concerning their child's education. To make the family feel apart of the learning environment

One goal you would like to set for the early childhood field related to issues of diversity, equity, and social justice is to not treat the family any different, because they come from another culture. I want everyone to feel like they are welcome no matter where they come from. Learn as much as possible about all of the different cultures that I would have within my classroom, and make sure the other children treat them with respect and dignity.

At this time I would like to thank everyone for all of the support and comments while going through this class as part of our journey. Wish everyone good luck in their future classes and hope you succeed in your journey.
